Laptimes on the Nürburgring, that's what it's all about! Alfa Romeo just announced the fact that their 4C set a new record for cars with less than 250 hp. On 12 September, the car was more than a minute slower than the Porsche 918. But that's not a shame of course!
The test on the 'Green Hell' in Germany is one of the many tests the Alfa Romeo 4C had to go through. It varied from minus 35 degrees Celsius in Sweden to plus 40 degrees Celsius in Abu Dhabi and from the deserts in Arizona to climbing mountains on Sicily. Of course, the car was also tested on their own test track in Balocco. The new Alfa Romeo 4C set a laptime of 8'04", which is the fastest time of cars with less power than 250 hp. The car was able to do this thanks to the TCT automatic gearbox and the 1750cc four-cylinder engine which produces a total of 240 hp!
