An SUV with a massive rear spoiler

The most unnecessary feature on an SUV is a giant rear spoiler. But it's no surprise that you'd find such a spoiler if Mansory had a hand in it.

The SUV concept came about by taking an off-road vehicle and making it a bit more suitable for everyday use. Soon, automakers started producing not only more practical vehicles but also unnecessarily luxurious ones. It wasn't long before off-road vehicles stopped being off-road vehicles and became high-end SUVs that weren't even suitable for off-roading anymore. Most luxury car brands then began building SUVs, even though they previously made only sports cars. Nowadays, you can count on one hand the brands that don't build SUVs.

This was also the case with Aston Martin, which produced its first DBX in 2020. It wasn't long before Mansory jumped in and started modifying the vehicles. Here's one example. Air intakes, widened fenders, and two rear spoilers. It's that moment when a DBX is fitted with more spoilers than some sports cars. And that's probably the most unnecessary thing because it doesn't seem like a 2.2-ton DBX really needs any extra downforce.
