Another one bites the dust: Ferrari 812 Superfast ends up in a ditch

It’s always a sad sight to see, but another Ferrari 812 Superfast has met an unfortunate fate. This particular 789 hp beast was recently involved in a single-car accident in Hengelo, Netherlands. The driver lost control, sending the Prancing Horse into a roadside ditch, destroying the entire front bumper in the process.

From the looks of it, the damage isn’t catastrophic, but it’s definitely not a cheap fix either. Everything below the headlights is shredded, yet the headlights themselves appear intact, and the bonnet seems to have survived without major damage. The airbags didn’t deploy, which suggests it was more of a fender bender than a high-impact crash. However, repairing a Ferrari is never light on the wallet. The front bumper alone costs around €6,700, and when you factor in additional brackets, parts, and a fresh paint job, the total bill could easily land between €12,000 and €15,000 - and if handled by a Ferrari dealer, expect an even steeper price tag.

While we don’t know the exact cause of the accident - whether it was cold tires, too much throttle, or another factor - one thing is certain: this Ferrari has seen better days. That said, it’s still better to see these cars being driven rather than collecting dust in storage.
