The 2008 Geneva Auto Show in March, that's where the face-lifted SL and SLK will probably be presented. Lately, spotter Japser came across this taped SL in Stuttgart and a couple of days ago, an article on Worldcarfans said that the SLK keeps its "F1-nose".
The current SL55 AMG will be replaced by the 63 AMG. Cruising nicely with a convertible with 518hp! The grille will become a little bit wider, like with the CL, and the headlights are getting the same shape as those of the CLS. On Motorauthority we found a nice impression of the SL. The face-lifted SL will be available in the beginning of 2009. In 2011 a completely new SL will be introduced. Here are Japser's pics.

SLK-facelift
The SLK is keeping its distinctive nose. This nose refers to the F1 successes of the Silver Arrow. Not a lot of things will be changed. The taillights undergo a little adjustment and the air-intake will have a slightly different shape. The interior will also undergo a small restyling. There won't change a lot more any further, nor below the surface. The 55 AMG will not be replaced by the 63 AMG... A pity. You can still choose between engines of 163, 231, 272 and 360hp.
