The first BMW X6 is driving through the Netherlands for some time now. Now we’ve gotten some spyshots from California of a X6 that is covered in black tape and has four huge exhaust pipes. This almost must be the first “M-model” of the BMW X-line.
BMW hasn’t confirmed that they are going to build an X6 M. If you look at the pictures you almost must conclude that this X6 has been modified by the BMW Motorsports divsion. Just look at the air intakes and the huge exhaust pipes. This car should be able to compete with the Mercedes ML63 AMG, Porsche Cayenne Turbo and other high-performance SUV's.
On the net a great number of speculations about the performance of this car can be found. Some say it will be 507 bhp strong engine from the M5 and M6. Others say that BMW will build a new supercharged V10 for the X6 M that in a while can be found in the M5 and M6, only time will tell According to Leftlanenews BMW will officially announce this car at the end of 2008.
