Some may have never heard of the Artega GT, while others might have to dig up a vague memory. The German sports car unfortunately never gained real fame, but that doesn’t make it any less cool!
In 2008, the Artega GT made its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show, where this particular model was also spotted. The designer might have a more recognizable name: Henrik Fisker. You may know this Danish man best for his design work on the Fisker Karma, as well as the BMW Z8, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, and the DB9. The sports car, with a weight of about 1200 kg and a 300 hp Volkswagen VR6 engine, was capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. All this may sound attractive, but the brand managed to sell only 153 cars before announcing its bankruptcy in 2012.
Unfortunately, these cars are becoming increasingly rare. In 2013, there were still 42 sightings of the Artega GT in a single year. However, by 2023, that number had dropped to just 4. As of 2024, only 2 sightings have been recorded on our site.
