We showed you a teaser of a Shooting Brake which Bertone will show on the Geneva Motor Show. Two days later, like it happens more often, Bertone couldn’t keep the car secret, and some pictures leaked timely. In 2004, Bertone came up with the Jet 2, another concept based on the Aston Martin Vanquish. Now it’s turn for the Bertone Jet 2+2, a concept based on the Aston Martin Rapide.
The Jet 2+2 isn’t offered officially by Aston Martin, but it is a real bless for Aston Martin. For their 100-year anniversary, Bertone started drawing a special Aston Martin. Despite this still is a concept, the power will come from the old-school V12 under the bonnet taken from the Rapide and not the Rapide S, despite the new grill of the Rapide S on the Jet. This means that ‘only’ 470 bhp can be found under the right foot of the driver. Now that this car is a Shooting Brake, more space for the passengers in created, something which the Rapide could use.
