Aston Martin Valhalla gets closer to reality

From the latest sightings of the upcoming BMW Skytop to the Aston Martin Valhalla, the testing phase for new cars is back in full swing after a long winter. The Valhalla is finally coming to life after a lengthy journey, though it's not quite over yet. Seeing these cars being put through their paces on the Nürburgring is always a good sight. Notably, there was another Valhalla spotted besides the one being tested on the track.

Back in 2024, a Valhalla was seen being unloaded at the Larusmiani store window in Milan, a spot known for showcasing impressive cars. The Valhalla was first unveiled almost four years ago, back in July 2021. It's crazy to think it took that long, but it's better to wait for a properly functioning car than one with issues. The Mercedes-AMG One had a similar story, taking ages to hit the roads. Creating cars that incorporate F1 technology and making them suitable for daily driving isn't easy at all.

The first deliveries of the Valhalla are expected in the second half of 2025, just a few more months until we see these beasts on the road. While the Valhalla is like a younger sibling to the Valkyrie, it's still something special. It's Aston Martin's first mid-engine PHEV supercar with true hypercar performance. Compared to the limited 275 Valkyries, there will be 999 Valhallas produced, making it easier to spot on the streets.

The performance of this beast is incredible too, with 1,079 PS from a 4.0 L V8 twin-turbo petrol engine, complemented by three e-motors (two on the front axle and one on the rear). It features an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) with e-reverse, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 350 km/h. There's serious power beneath that beautiful exterior.
