The best Audi RS6 of all time. These are the words of the media who have driven the RS6 Avant GT. This limited Audi was introduced earlier this year and is now rarely seen.
The Audi RS6, as we know it now, will never return. That means no more roaring V8 without hybrid technology. No, the next generation will hopefully still feature a V8, but it will be supported by electric motors. However, that’s not the case with the RS6 Avant GT! It’s a true masterpiece, and Audi is giving the RS6 a worthy farewell. The gray-black-red design was first seen on rally Quattros in the 1980s and later in the DTM. For the RS6 GT, Audi specifically refers to the Audi 90 that Hans-Joachim Stuck and Walter Röhrl drove in the IMSA Championship.
Thankfully, it’s not just the stickers that stand out visually. The grille and diffuser are different, and the roof rails have been omitted. Additionally, the wheel arches and hood are made of carbon fiber, reducing the overall weight from 2,141 kilograms by another 11 kilograms. You probably won’t notice much of a difference. Mechanically, nothing has been changed. The V8 engine still delivers the same power as the RS6 Performance: 630 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. However, the chassis has been adjusted for sharper handling.
Thinking, I want this now? Well, bad luck. All 660 units are already sold out.
