Parties, we love to be there. Aston Martin celebrates their 100th anniversary quite big. We recently met the Centenary Edition models and now it's time to meet the Aston Martin Rapide S. The S stands for Super, Stylish and Sporty. At least, that's what we think. On this Aston Martin we see a changed back of the car and a refreshed nose. Yes, the Rapide S is ready for the next few years!
Optical, the earlier mentioned things are changed. At the back we see a subtle spoiler, on the front the grille is now one big component. This makes the front of the Rapide S look much more aggressive. This has a reason, because the car really is more aggressive. The V12 in the front now produces 558 bhp! This is an extra 81 horsepower compared with the old Rapide, quite some progress! The Rapide S sprints to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and with a weight distribution of 48 percent on the front and 52 percent on the back, corners are also much fun with this car! The Aston Martin Rapide S isn't completely new for us. The car was spotted in London, a month ago. We could already see the optical changes on those pictures.
