Bell & Ross use Carbone Forgé for their new watch

In 2014, Bell & Ross introduced the new BR-X1 line in the shape of a high-tech sports watch. The watch was very robust but also aerodynamic. The BR-01 was the extreme version of this watch. A rectangular watch inspired by the instruments in the aviation industry. The BR-X1 is more than that and with the addition of Carbone Forgé the watch is even more lightweight and looks better.

In his constant search for perfection, Bell & Ross chose this lightweight material which we already know from the automotive world. Bell & Ross names it Carbone Forgé and this material is also used in space for components which endure high stress. To protect the Carbone Forgé against scratches, Bell & Ross designed a rubber bumper for the watch. Next to that, they also use high-tech ceramics which have to make the watch endurable. We see that more and more technology from cars and other industries are used in the watch industry. These industries have more similarities than we could have thought. The Bell & Ross BR-X1 will be limited to only 250 copies.
