Bentley just revealed the Bentley Continental GT V8 S on the internet. With a minimal power boost, the Bentley made a special model just before the IAA in Frankfurt. The four-liters big V8 got some extra power. Who needs a W12?
The power is boosted with an extra 21 hp and the torque is increased with 20 Nm. This makes it a total of 521 hp and 680 Nm, enough to sprint to 100 kph in just 4.5 seconds. That’s 0.3 seconds faster than the normal V8 and 0.1 seconds faster than the W12! Does this make the most expensive model unwanted?
No, it just depends on what you want to do with this car. Do you want to drive in all ease, cruise on the highway, than you need the W12. The W12 is very quiet while the V8 produce quite a good sound. The V8 is better for the sporty drivers, with its stiffer front and rear axle, it’s lowered suspension and renewed dampers. The front and back look a bit different than the normal V8, but it’s quite hard to see the differences.
