Faster than what? THe BMW M4 Coupé was thirteen seconds faster than it's older brother, the E92 M3. The German SportAuto recently tested the BMW M4 Coupé and this resulted in the following time. The M4 Coupé was thirteen seconds faster than the M3 E92 but still three seconds slower than the M3 GTS, but there's a reason.
The M4 Coupé managed to do a lap on the Nürburgring in 7:52 minutes, while the M3 E92 Coupé needed 8:05 minutes. The M3 GTS managed to do a lap in 7:49 but did this with the standard semi-slick tires of the GTS. The M3 E46 is even half a minute slower than the M4 Coupé. The reason that the M4 Coupé is faster is the amount of torque thanks to the turbos and ofcourse the development of all the technology in this car.
