BMW M4 F82 Coupé spotted without camouflage!

Last month the car was introduced, and at the moment the first uncamouflaged testing cars of the BMW M3 and M4 are driving around the world. The first of them was spotted in Regensburg. BMW's latest sportcar is likely to become a real success when we see all positive reactions. The hardcore fanboys will be very happy with the new straight-six engines, they don't even care about the two turbos mounted to the it.

The development of the M3 and M4 has been going on for quite some time. Last months BMW reached the final stadium and took of the curtain of the car. The design of the M4 was identical to the concept that was revealed in Pebble Beach. Eventually, it turned out that this was just an BMW 335i with an M4-body and some bags of sand. Last months our expectations were roused by the real deal, a track toy that is available in several interesting colours. This werkstestwagen, painted black, was spotted in Regensburg. Over the following time we can expect more of these so-called werkstestwagens on the site. Developing a new car is never done and some extra testing kilometers can only have their good effects.

As said, the M3 and M4 are powered by a six-in-line engine with two turbos. These turbos put out 430 bhp and 500 Nm which makes the car to 4.1 seconds. The engine has become 25% more economical than the V8 from the E92-series. One of the biggest criterion was to make the car ideal for the track, without losing its abilities for daily use. With that in mind, carbon fiber ceramic brakes are available as an optional extra and a special cooling system is integrated to make sure the engine, gearbox and turbos are operating under the right temperature.
