Spotted for the first time in Rapallo

March 2025 Between Sunday 16 and Monday 17 March I have finally visited again my friend Benny (meb_carspotting) in his home town, almost 8 years after the last time, even if we met some times after that visit it was always in my home city Turin. This M4 was the last of 8 spots of my 2-day visit, being one of only 2 from the second day and also the only one in Rapallo, with all others in Santa Margherita Ligure. I really like the spec on this BMW, which was parked on the waterfront of Rapallo and according to Benny it is one of few spotworthy cars that are actually local of his home town as usually cars spotted there are visitors, the same owner previously had an i8, is this an upgrade or a downgrade for you?

The BMW I8 is also cool, but this one has a 6-cylinder instead of the 3-cylinder I8, an improvement in that aspect. Nice spot!

Hello, Giacomo. That I8 will always look modern and beautiful. However the powertrain will always be a downfall, imho. Anytime a manufacture needs to utilize their onboard radio to enhance their exhaust note, that says all you need to know if you prefer powerful engines. Take car, my friend.
