A big advantage of being a big brand with a lot of history is the fact that you can make as much limited models as you want to. Again and again you can build a limited edition with a special reason and that’s exactly what Bugatti is doing. Bugatti is now honoring six persons who meant a lot for the company, back in the days. The first person is Jean Pierre Wimille who managed to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice. This model will be revealed during Pebble Beach, next month.
Technically, nothing changes to the Bugatti. A special colour scheme is added to the car and will have the same colours as the winning car of Wimille. The colour is blue carbon fiber with a clear coat. Next to that, ‘Wimille light blue’ is added for some contrast. In the interior, we see the same colours and we also find the track of Le Mans, which is stitched, between the two Seats. This year, five other limited editions will be introduced which will all honor their own hero!
