Car Fanatics Go Wild for the SEMA Show

Of all the car shows held every year, the SEMA Car Show is definitely one of the top shows in the United States. Occurring in the first week of November, the SEMA Car Show is held in Las Vegas at the Convention Center. Since its beginning in 1967, the show is only open to automotive professionals to give them education on certain topics as well as offering up new product information among many displays.

The most recent SEMA Show was held in November of 2014. Approximately over 125,000 people attended the show. One interesting aspect of the show was the components and accessories that went into creating some unique automobiles. All of the top American automobile manufacturers attend as long as some foreign manufacturers. This would include Lexus, Porsche, Kia, Acura, Toyota, Hyundai and Honda. Along with these top car makers, many vendors of car related items also set up booths at the SEMA show. Many of the special exhibits include specially designed cars. For instance, this past November, Ford revealed its new 2015 F-150 pickup that has been heavily customized. Expect to find the biggest show of modified cars anywhere in the United States. There are four main attraction divisions: hot rod and muscle car tuning, modified modern cars, rims and innovative technology. One luxury car that was introduced here was the 2015 BMW M4. With a twin turbocharged 3.0 liter, inline sic motor that achieves 425 horsepower, the M4 was definitely one of the more impressive cars on exhibit.


With such a successful showing, many look forward to the next SEMA show in 2015.
