Spotdetails
October 2024
One week ago, I went to the cinema with a friend, as we arrived early I decided to check the NH Lingotto hotel, I didn't expect to find something as in recent times I rarely see nice cars, even if it used to be one of best spotting locations of the city in the last years.
But this time I was quickly proven wrong as one of the first parked cars was this brutal modified Corvette, the spot turned even more surprising after I've noticed the car's license plate, Qatar!
As I'm also a license plates spotter it was a huge surprise to find my first Qatari in a rainy day of October in Turin, even after visiting with no successful results cities like Paris, Monaco or Porto Cervo where cars from there can be seen often.
Luckily the rain gave a break in that moment so I've spotted this cool Corvette without any problem, on that day the NH hotel seemed to be a little closer to the good old times as in another area of the parking, closer to the hall I've also found another nice and rare car for me, a Swiss Alpine A110, that I will post after this spot.
Another thing I can tell you about this spot is that the boring exterior color of the car had a huge contrast with the big wing and the flashy turquoise interior and accents, while I'm not sure about the mods as some look nice while many others are not really my taste, the body kit makes it similar to a ZR1 but it's clearly ''just'' a modified normal C7 Stingray.
It's also interesting to see that the same number plate can be found on a spotworthy car also in South Korea, where it has been spotted on a nice black Mercedes SL 63 AMG.
