Porsche is also present in Chicago. The United States of America is an important market for Porsche. Last year, the Americans received 35.000 new Porsches. This year, the Cayman will probably be another great success. Potential customers and the press met this model on the Chicago Motor Show.
The Cayman is more than just a Boxster with a roof despite the cars have the same engine. The standard model has the 2.7 liters V6 with 275 bhp. For those with some more money there is the S-version which has a 3.4 liters V6 which produces 340 bhp. Every Cayman can be delivered with the optional Sport Chrono Pack and PDK-gearbox to raise the performance of this car to a higher level.
Just like other Porsche models, the Cayman looks better than its predecessor. Important details are the changed head- and taillights. The side looks also more powerful thanks to the new design lines. Overall, the Cayman became a more male sports car. We seem to get more versions of the Cayman in the future. Porsche wants to come up with a Turbo version which will have even more power. But this model would probably get two cylinders less. On the exhibition we see the Cayman S, which is already spotted!
