De Huayra BC is somewhat uncomfortable in rush hour

We ended 2016 on a high not with the topspots like the Lamborghini Veneno, and we start the year with another topspot. With only 20 copies made, the Pagani Huayra BC is very rare sighting! Now wonder that they were sold out in no time, and those that were fortunate to get their hands on one, were more than willing to pay the $2.5 million sticker price!

The initials BC stand for Benny Caiola, a good friend of Horacio Pagani and also the first customer of the brand. Upon his death in 2010, Horacio decided to honor his friend and that's why he named the more aggressive version of the Huayra to him. The 'normal' Huayra is a work of art by itself, and the BC just takes it one step further. The BC offers less weight, more power and downforce, and a more aggressive appearance. The most striking aspect of his appearance is the large spoiler. By using carbon that is 50% lighter and 20% more stronger, Pagani was able to shed 291 lb. and that has positive impact on the performance. The 6.0-liter V12 twin turbocharged AMG engine now delivers 100 hp extra to a total of 739 hp. No wonder why it was sold out almost immediately. And there is already demand for a BC Roadster! The future looks good for Pagani.
