The Q Series' of the Aston Martin range are not only derived from the James Bond franchise, but are also special versions of Aston Martin. This year there are up to two models, fitted to Q Series specification, that attended the Dubai Motor Show, both of which are new to us. The Aston Martin V12 Vantage S by Q not only is finished in a unique colour combination, but has performance that is simply breathtaking.
The Aston Martin V12 Vantage S is Aston Martin's fastest model, after the One-77 hypercar. The 6.0 litre V12 delivers nearly 600 horsepower, which is impressive for a car of which is not much bigger than a Ford Focus. The press photos of the standard V12 Vantage S, show it's rather striking finish of bright yellow on the exterior, and obligatory black detailing, which stands out from the usual colours of the range that Aston Martin offers. For the exhibition in Dubai, Aston Martin went for a much more subtle approach, by finishing the car in grey, and finishing detailing off in yellow. The Q Series is a special program where you are offered more personalisation options than normal. This example works well we think.
