Sportec brings SPR1 M to Geneva

Sportec? Ring-a-bell? No? That's possible, Sportec isn't the biggest name in the tuning scene. Some of you might know them for their very cool rims. This tuning company really puts an effort into every car they modify. A little while ago we got you some information on the Sportec SP700 (Dutch article) but now Sportec is taking their latest creation to the Geneva Motor Show. We present to you the Sportec SPR1 M.

This upgraded Porsche is based on the 997 Turbo, just like the SP700. There is a difference though. Sportec took their tuning skills to the next level. They completely rebuild the car from the bottom. Any part which was replaceable with carbon fiber, has been replaced with carbon fiber. Sportec is taking this new car very serious. Not only does this make the car a whole lot lighter, it also makes the car very stiff. This improves the handling of the car. The tuning company also upgraded the engine, it now creates a staggering 858 bhp, that's a shitload amount of power in a very lightweight car. Unfortunately we don't have any other specs available at the moment. The other car, the SPR1, has 800 bhp and does the 0-100 kilometers per hour sprint in three seconds. We're wondering what this SPR1 M will do!

This SPR1 M will be very exclusive because Sportec will build no more than ten cars. That's quite a shame because this awesome bodykit, sensible spoiler and matching rims make a perfect and impressive sight on the streets. This car will be shown on the Geneva Motor Show so be sure to expect some images from us.
