Top photographer Peter Terpstra is a well known person on Autogespot and from time to time he uploads a very special spot. A while ago he uploaded a Ferrari F50 and now he puts this spot on Autogespot. And no, it’s not good connections, this Morgan Aero 8 is the spot of the day because it deserves to be.
This typical British car is faster than you might think. Many people think it’s just another classic, but it’s a super fast race monster. The Aero 8 is the lightest, only 1145 kg, sports car with a V8 up front. The 4.8 liter V8 from BMW pumps out 367 bhp and makes the car sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 270 km/h. The car has a perfect weight distribution so cornering is not a problem at all. Sadly the Morgan isn’t that big and it isn’t built in giant quantities, this does make it a lot more exclusive. A very rare sports car that is seldom found on Autogespot.
