Spot of the day: Bentley Continental Flying Spur with carbon wrap

The end of this beautiful spring day is nearing and so it is time for another spot of the day. With this wonderful weather it sure is tempting to let your exotic out of it’s garage box. But, our spot of the day wasn’t spotted in this small country, but in a relatively unknown spot city in a foreign country. The capitol of Austria, Vienna, is a relatively unknown spot city. The city only has 156 spots and that’s not much for a capitol. But from time to time some beautiful cars drive around here, and that is proven today.

The car itself isn’t even that special. We are ‘only’ talking about a Bentley Continental Flying Spur. This car is spotted a lot in the bigger city’s , so it’s not that special. The special thing about this car is it’s color. The car is finished in a matte color, something we see a lot these days. Matte black seems to be the successor of white in exotic world. The owner must have thought that matte black is a bit ‘regular’, because he gave the car a very special appearance. The car has a carbon pattern. This makes the Bentley very special, we can’t remember anything like this before. Pagani and Koenigsegg deliver their models in unfinished carbon, but the color on the Bentley is best called matte carbon and that’s something new!

From a distance the car seems to be just matte black, but if you look closely you will spot the carbon structure. Very rare, but it doesn’t fit a car like this actually. You would expect this on a Ferrari or another exciting sportscar. We are curious if this is going to be a new trend.
