The new XF-R has been for sale (Dutch article) for quite a while now. Today the car was spotted for the first time in the wild. The best city for this scoop of course remains our capitol, Amsterdam.
This new sedan can be seen as the successor of the S-type R, a V8 powered cat with 400bhp. This XF-R has over a 100bhp more, 507bhp. It is faster and a lot more sporty. Many magazines really like this cars performance. The dull image of this noble British brand is finally swiped away with the sporty input of the R-models that are successful for Jaguar. The performance is equal to that of a E 63 AMG and M5. It is the first time Jaguar can put up some resistance against the mighty German order!
