Spot of the day: Porsche Cayenne Lumma CLR 550 R

Usually people from the Netherlands don’t like tuning, so over here there aren’t many tuned Cayennes driving around. We do know about a few Porsche Cayennes that paid a visit to Techart, to turn them into a Techart Magnum. One of the Dutch owners brought his Cayenne to Lumma. The first Cayenne Lumma on Dutch licence plates, finally!

According to us this is the spot of the day, just because it is a pretty rare car, the tuned version at least is. The normal Cayenne you can see on almost every corner, or just go to the PC Hooftstraat in Amsterdam. Last year during the Essen tuning show Lumma Design showed the world the new CLR 550 R, based on the facelifted Cayenne. Lumma has quite a name in the tuning scene, just think about the BMW X5 they also tune. They added a body kit on this Cayenne, this makes the car ten centimeters wider. The car is also dropped by four centimeters, which gives the car a more agressive look. The front of the car got a new bumper, double head/fog lights. The side skirts, rear bumper and other fenders complete the exterior of this Cayenne.

Under the bonnet Lumma also did some nice work. This CLR 550 R is based on the Cayenne Turbo. At this point the engine isn't tuned yet, all changes are just cosmetic. Interior wise you can spot a lot of carbon, leather, alcantara and aluminum pedals. Kids will love this car, due to the 7.5 inch television screens in the headrests of the front seats.
