Spot of the day: Lister XJS 7-litre Mark III Convertible

The spot of the 31th of May is a relatively unkown car. We aren’t totally sure about the name of the car, we think it is a Lister XJS 7-litre Mark III Convertible. But hey, we are only human so don’t blame us if we’ve accidentely made a mistake.

There isn’t that much to tell about the spot of today, not much is known of this car. This probably is a rebuilt Jaguar XJS with a seven liter engine. But it could also be an engine with 5.3 liters. To be honest we really don’t know. The company Lister entered Le Mans in the 50’s with tuned Jaguar’s. In 1980 the company entered the supercar world with divers projects. One of these projects was this Jaguar XJS. This was a great succes and paved the way for the Lister Storm. We actually haven’t told anything about the spot of the day. So if you’ve got any information about this car, please let us know.
