It’s going well with the spots in Paris. You already saw some beautiful sportscars from this wonderful city. Now a spotter hit the jackpot again! A very exclusive German sportscar, the Gumpert Apollo Speed, popped up out of nowhere in the city of light!
The Gumpert Apollo Speed was presented for the first time in March during the Geneva car show. The difference with the sportier versions is that this car is more comfortable and more suited for daily use. It has a DVD-player and airconditioning, for example.
Of course this is all pretty marketing, this just is a racing car for the open roads. We ask ourselves if it was easy to manoeuvre (Dutch article) the car through the streets of Paris. This Gumpert was spotted in the Rue Scribe, a side street close to the Opera. The people from Gumpert were probably staying in Paris after the party in Le Mans.
This monster must have been the centre of attention in the city where you mostly see Maserati’s. The colour is very special too, you don’t see it on other supercars very often. That even the people in the hotel found this a special car is shown because of the fact that they took some pictures themselves of this remarkable supercar.
Gumpert offers different versions of the Speed. As a client you can choose between 650, 700 or 800 bhp. If you order the car in 700 bhp trim the Speed launches itself from 0-100 in about three seconds, with the right adjustments and 800 bhp this should be possible even faster. The top speed is over 350 km/h. In short a perfect car for your daily rides across the city.

There is a big chance that this spot is going to be in the selective row of the Spot of the year. It is not very likely that another Gumpert will appear on Autogespot any time soon. A real topper, the Gumpert Apollo Speed!
