2012 was the year that Kimble, now named Kim Dotcom, got a lot of media attention. Not because of his cars but because of his arrest in New Zealand. His car collection was impounded and we don't know what cars he still has left. In South-Africa an Phantom Drophead Coupé was spotted just like the copy Kim owned, doesn't he own this car anymore?
The eccentric German seems to have much to answer to and he's still waiting on his process that will start soon. During his arrest, a big collection of Mercedes-Benzes was impounded. Because of Kim's considerable stature, he doesn't seem to fit in every car. The pearl of his collection was, or is, a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Copué. We think that Kim probably didn't get his car back and that someone in Johannesburg bought the car. At least, that's what we think!
This enormous convertible has the license plate 'GOD' and was twice spotted in Europe in 2011. With a lowered suspension, 24 inch wheels with diamonds and a Spirit of Ecstasy made out of polycarbonate, this is an outstanding appearance. Driving around with these chrome wheels makes you look like a gangster. The Phantom Drophead Coupé is a powerful car which is great to show off. A true Rolls-Royce for the elite.
