The Texas Invitational (TI) took place April 11th and 12th in Dallas, TX at the Caddo Mills Municipal Airport. The Texas Invitational is America's premiere roll racing event, bringing in all of the nations top tuners, to battle against each other in a safe and legal way, in a street/highway like racing environment.

In attendance this year was Nth Moto with their TT 2006 Viper, that trapped 191 mph during competition, surprising all in attendance with a Viper that was able to compete with all of the AWD equipped vehicles that typically dominate at TI. AMS brought along their Omega shop car, as well as T1 Racing in their Alpha 20 equipped GTR, and another AMS customer with his Alpha 16 equipped car. Heffner Performance also attended with OB Prestige Auto from Canada, in a race prepped Super Trofeo Stradale that trapped an impressive 195.48 mph during competition. Reigning champ Underground Racing was in attendance as well bringing several TT Gallardo's and an Audi R8 with their R2 (1800whp+) package, sweeping the event by placing 1st and 2nd in King of the Street and 6 speed challenge, while trapping a maximum of 202 mph in competition.

Surprising the audience was a Dallas Performance built RS-1 Gallardo (1600+whp), beating two UGR TT 2R Gallardo's, and also out-trapping 6 UGR R2 Gallardo's during competition, at 195.48 mph. Customer owned and driven, the Gallardo was undefeated throughout the event, advancing deep into the King of the Street challenge, before running off the runway, preventing them from advancing to the next round. Underground Racing has some solid competition from this Texas tuner that's quickly making a name for themselves in the high performance Gallardo market.

Titan Motors ports also brought along a Supra that proved that this older platform is still capable of keeping up with the AWD giants that seem to dominate at this event, running consistently well throughout the event, before being knocked out.

Not limited to only large shops, a few private racers were able to attend, including Eddie Bello, who previously ran undefeated against 5 UGR Gallardo's in the 2013 Texas Invitational. Luck however was not on Eddie's side, as a cracked head put him out of competition early on Friday. Many local racers also attended in Twin Turbo Vipers, Corvettes, and Porsches.
