Spotted in Monaco, Monaco
Date 2021-12-23 16:13

Had some free time on my hands during yet another lockdown, so I figured why not go through some photos from earlier this year! Last October I found this gorgeous "Giallo Dino" Daytona Spider in Monaco. I'm not a 100% sure, but it seems like this specific car was featured in the movie "The Long Goodbye" in 1973. How cool is that! In 2010 the car was eventually refurbished by a Dutchman called Henk van Lith. You can find some footage of the car via the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ca5GQeTMWIg&feature=emb_logo

Very special car, the 365 Daytona was slightly redesign in 1971 to be sold in the USA with some engine changes for that market and new headlights for Europe and USA. At the beginning this redesign, the front of the car had this silver line to simulate the design of the car with the old headlights but this was quickly change to a front with the same colour of the car. Plus, only 122 365 Spyders were built and 95 of this 122 spyders were sold in the USA so, this is a very special unit of the 365 Daytona. It has the opcional wheels as well.
