On a cold, stormy December day, I didn't think I'd have much luck. But then I suddenly saw this amazingly specced 812 Competizione coming towards me, with a Porsche behind it! Later, this beast came back and I got to snap it again. What a thing, it is my second for AG. Really hope it wins today!

Oh I’m sure it will. That’s good news, be sure you’re shooting in RAW format, I think it’s called NEF on the Nikons. It preserves much more information than JPEG to play around with editing

Yeah, but it weights like 5 times more than jpeg. I would use it only for photoshootings or night @Rostyslav

@BrickShark That just means it contains 5 times more image data, which is exactly what we need for quality editing

@ST22HTV I wouldn’t say it improves quality, rather it gives you more opportunities for post editing. You can sometimes even ‘save’ badly taken photos

@ST22HTV There’s no way to fix blurry or autofocus mistakes, although AI is getting there. I mean underexposed or overexposed images.

Wow, wonderfull spot, love the Comp! Just as @Rostyslav stated id reccomende shooting RAW (NEF). It isnt really like you can save a blurry picture, you can just do so much more with editing. When shooting JPEG pictures get ugly very fast when you, for example, bring up the shadows or exposure. And if you get LR Classic (which I highly reccomend, ive been using it for some time noe) you can 'denoise' pictures. Its an ai tool which can massivly reduce grain and noise in your pictures, this tool cant be used on a JPEG image. The reason a RAW file is bigger than a JPEG is that a RAW pictures contains more info about the picture. Thats also the reason you can edit the pictures better, there is more 'info' to work with. Lightroom can make better changes that way.

When spotting, you dont notice the difference, there are no downsides on shooting R
NEF. I also shot NEF with my D70s when I got LRc. You can take a look at my 812 Comp, those pictures are denoised and edited in LRc. I shot the pics in NEF

Sweet find, congrats. Unexpected finds are always the best! I'd also say your chances of SotD are pretty good tonight, which is rare for a spot outside of London!

[@Joe Smith] thank you. You need to buy Autogespot premium or just upload 25 spots. When you would upload spots always remember to get various front and rear angles and also (not a must) usually a side shot. 5-10 pictures are always good.
