Spotted in London, United Kingdom

As I was shooting this beauty, I noticed a man in a black balaclava next to the blue BMW in the background. We exchanged glances, but I didn’t give him any further thought. A few minutes later, I heard glass shattering, and the guy vanished in an instant on his electric bike. I noticed the broken back window of the BMW and felt disgusted and unsafe, so I left the area without spotting the M3 Comp or any other cars on the street. I wish London were a safer place, free from the car theft and phone snatching. I never feel secure outside, constantly worrying about my phone and camera. I can only imagine what supercar owners must feel and the risk they are taking to share their passion with us

Mate, glad your ok. 👍 It's a sad reality of life in the City and broad daylight isn't even an issue! Everyday at my work I see bad behaviour you just can't avoid it, makes you sad and angry.😢 😡 Let's hope we all are safe and well doing what we love doing, being mindful of our surroundings and take care. 🙏

Very nice combo! That BMW looks absolutely awesome, so sad that it got broken (hopefully not stolen). In my area of Liverpool you'd hate it. There are loads of balaclava gangs who potentially have knives on them. If we'd ever get a nice car, I'd not want to keep it parked on our street and keep it at a dealer. Someone once tried the door handles on our neighbours car and our KIA at night and our neighbour noticed and shouted at him through the window. Luckily we've never seen him since. But Liverpool also has it's nice sides, I prefer it to Manchester.

@davileon I've lived in different European capitals, I've stayed in the States for a few years and I've never seen the 'small' crime situation so out of hand. It's such a pity and a big disadvantage to the UK

@ST22HTV It's not the green M3 that got broken into, but the blue SUV a few cars away from the Ferrari. Not for stealing the car, but probably to snatch something from the rear seats. I love the nice sides of the big British cities, but this feeling of unsafely never leaves me on the streets. And I've seen fellow spotters lose phones to these gangs

@Rostyslav that's horrible because it ruins the whole experience of spotting. Phone snatching is not as bad hear but other stuff is. And the British won't do anything

Lovely F430 and nice combo but it's terrible to hear that London is so unsafe!

Very nice spot ! If you've a picture of the guy, feel free to drop it in the closest police station to the place. And don't come in Brussels if it makes you feel unsafe, because car theft is becoming a national sport and more & more a big problem here.
