The year 2024 will go into the books as a memorable year for car spotters worldwide. The battle for the title "Spot of the Year" was though, but in the end, there could only be one winner. With pride, we can announce that the Ferrari F50 in Monaco, spotted by Autodebiel, has become the absolute top spot of the year.

This special Ferrari F50 managed to leave the competition behind, including impressive opponents such as the Koenigsegg Jesko, The Ferrari Big Five, and the rare Rolls-Royce Sweptail. It was not only the rarity of the Ferrari F50 that made an impression, but also the iconic setting of Monaco in combination with the Enzo Ferrari and the F40. Monaco is, of course, known for its luxury and glamorous appearance, and that is what the voting public fell in love with. The total number of votes this year was somewhat disappointing, but despite that, a lot of votes were cast! This spot took 17% of the votes, and that will partly be because it is a truly pure spot. Other participants in the Spot of the Year were sometimes staged photoshoots where the real spotting feeling was still missing.

Then here are some numbers from 2024! The year had 182,349 spots, which is an average of 498 spots per day. Especially the summer had peak days with more than 1,000 spots! Will we receive 2,000 spots per day this year? If we calculate the averages further, that means 20 spots per hour and one uploaded every 3 minutes.
