Ferrari shows excellent figures in the first quarter of 2014

Less cars, more profit. That’s what Ferrari’s presenting over the first quarter of 2014. The Italian car manufacturer is doing great. This year, they won’t build more than 7.000 cars, which is less than 2013.

Ferrari wants to increase the exclusivity of the brand. They can do this only one way, decreasing the production. This year, they will build a maximum of 7.000 copies, instead of the 7.318 copies in 2013.

The first quarter of 2014, Ferrari did great with a profit of 57 million euros. The profit was reached by selling cars and other activities. 1.699 Ferraris were build, 100 copies less than the first quarter of 2013. Ferrari announces a growth of sales in almost every country. In the United States, 494 copies were delivered, 150 in the Middle-East and 128 in Japan. An important and growing market is China where Ferrari sold 73 copies in the first quarter. In Europe, the United Kingdom and Germany are the biggest customers with 168 and 162 copies. In Italy, 63 copies arrived at their rightful owners.
