Ferrari SuperAmerica 45 spotted in Greenwich

Ferrari SuperAmerica 45 spotted in Greenwich

Ferrari used the name SuperAmerica quite often during the last few years, just like the name California. Americans love the Italian brand and some customers are very close with Ferrari. In 2011, a one-off was built for a very special customer, the SuperAmerica 45. This beautiful copy was now spotted in Greenwich.

Greenwich shows us how many special supercars can be found in this wealthy city. The garages in the enormous estates are filled with rare classics and modern supercars. This SuperAmerica 45 is only the tip of the iceberg. You've already seen multiple McLaren P1s and LaFerraris in Greenwich.

The SuperAmerica 45 is based on the 599 GTB Fiorano. The entire back is redesigned for the unique roof construction. The roof is based on the 575M. Ferrari painted the car in the colour Blu Antille. This is the same colour as another car in the owner's collection, a 400 Superamerica cabriolet from 1961. The car has some extra details like a spoiler at the back and a more sporty front thanks to new grids and a hood from the 599 GTO.

Back in 2011 we already wrote that we would love to see this special model on Autogespot and now this finally happened!
