While I was browsing the web, I came across a very interesting Nissan GT-R. Without hesitating, I had called the seller who seemed to be a new tuning atelier of Moscow named GHH Automotive & Lifestyle and arranged a meeting to have a look at it. Once arrived, I was welcomed by –to my own surprise- a familiar face for Autogespot . While the car was being prepared for the photo shoot, I was offered tea and biscuits and got a tour through the company. The management also told me about their other projects, such as Aston Martin DB9, but this whole information will be kept apart for our next article, so let’s move on to our main character of today: the Nissan GT-R.
The GT-R is a very popular car among the speed and thrill seekers. The car is famous for its design and remarkable technology. But for some it is never enough, and this car’s creator is one of them. When we first look at it, we see that the stock front bumper, hood, doors and boot lid are replaced for carbon fiber versions. Also the wing is replaced for an ARP version made of carbon fiber. When we look down at the wheels, we see sportive 20” Advans wrapped with Toyo R888 tyres covering huge second gen ceramic rotors. The latter cost 20 thousand euro, but for the car of its proportions it is a must-have. Finally, the interior has also received safety modifications such as Cusco-cage, Bride seats and 4-point harnesses.
Pretty much obviously, the heart of the beast was modified too with fully forged internals. The extra air gets pumped through HKS GT700 turbos until it reaches the HKS titanium exhaust to create an even better GT-R V6-tune. Also the gearbox was reinforced allowing to handle up to 1500 hp, if someone would like to swap the turbos, but how many horses does this car have at the moment? 700 to be precise when it runs on e98, BUT! most of the time it runs on C16 which allows it to unleash 940 horses. According to the primary sources, this car was set bumper-to-bumper with a Veyron for a notorious Russian highway-run with disappointing results for the Bugatti fans…
