Geneva 2013: Spyker B6 Venator Concept

Spyker is back in business! In Geneva, they just revealed their new concept car, the B6 Venator. It had go give Spyker a new boost to prevent bankruptcy in the future. But what kind of car is this B6 Venator?

Despite the tough period Spyker went through last years, the Dutch manufacturer is again present in Geneva. It’s Spyker’s slogan, 'Nulla tenaci invia est via' which made them present the B6 Venator. The name Ventator means hunter in Latin and that’s exactly what Spyker wants to do. They will go hunting for a market share in the High Luxury Sports segment. When we look at the looks of this car we see a unique model which really looks like a Spyker. The unique front refers to the Spyker models from last century and the rest of the bodywork reminds us of airplanes. The bodywork is made out of carbon fiber and that makes the Spyker a lightweight, it weighs less than 1400 kilograms.

On the field of performance, the Spyker is no big surprise. They’ve chosen for a compact V6 engine which produces 375 hp. Not very much, but thanks to the weight the car will still have some good performance. You can read more about the performance later. They did announce the price of this car, it will cost around 125,000 Euros, excluding taxes.
