Geneva 2013: Mansory Gronos

Not only sports cars are available at the Mansory stand, they also offer big SUVs. Mansory has been a big fan of the G-Class for years and now shows two new versions of the car, of which the Gronos is the most impressive.

The Gronos-bodykit is made for the new G 63 AMG and G 65 AMG. On paper they are both very impressive cars, but Mansory wasn’t pleased yet. The G 63 AMG knows a power of 544 bhp which increases to a whopping 840 bhp after completely rebuilding the engine. The torque is limited to 1000 Newtonmeters. That’s more power than any tuner can enchant out of the G-Class, it’s even more than Brabus can offer! The only question left it if you need such powers in an off-road cars. Brabus might be the expert for engine tuning, but also Mansory seem to know their way around.

Mansory gave a completely new carbon fiber bodywork to the Gronos, which has a remarkable paintjob called Magic Yellow. Compared to Mansory’s G-Couture this model doesn’t have a completely visible bodywork out of carbon fiber. The bodywork has two new parts which gave the car an extra width of two centimeters and new bumpers to make it look completely different from the G 63 and G 65. Mansory says the car improved its ride off-road with the new bodywork, but probably no one will ever have advantage of this. The only places where you will see this car are the most exclusive shopping streets of Dubai of Moscow.
