Geneva 2014: Carrozzeria Touring Disco Volante

Geneva 2014: Carrozzeria Touring Disco Volante

The special project named Disco Volante is present on this year’s show. Last year, they brought a red copy, this time the car is painted in green. The mixture of recognizable details of several models is still very interesting, although we still need some time to get used to it, how about you?

Last year they already announced that they would build six copies of the car, but we don’t know if they managed to do this. It takes up to 4.000 hours to build this model because every part is handmade. The Disco Volante is a great example of modern technology combined with old-fashioned workmanship. Under the hood we find the V8 from the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. The car is used as donor and you might wonder if it isn’t a shame to use such a beautiful car to make this Disco Volante. Do you like the car in this green colour?
