When Infiniti starts to produce the Q50 Eau Rouge concept, the German brands like Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz are warned. Infiniti already showed they’re very potent with the FX Vettel Edition and the Q50 Eau Rouge is the next step in the niche market of sporty sedans. If Infiniti comes up with this car it will be an amazing performance limousine.
During the show, Infiniti announced that a powerful 3.8 liter V6 from Nissan is placed in the front producing up to 568 hp. The car is a direct competitor of the three big German companies. A top speed of almost 300 kph is available. Next to that, the car looks amazing and is fitted with a lot of carbon fiber. The car looks way more sporty than a BMW M5 or Audi RS7 for example. It’s a car which looks very sporty but unfortunately it’s not clear whether Infiniti will really produce this car. The show in Geneva will be the perfect way to measure the popularity of the car.
