Geneva 2014: Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG

Mercedes-Benz doesn’t have much room for any more models with the four-cylinder AMG engine. The latest model is the Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG, Mercedes-Benz’s answer to the Audi RS Q3. Like always, AMG came up with something good. The GLA 45 AMG produces 360 hp and looks quite muscular. How does this car look in real life?

Developing the GLA 45 AMG must have been quite a tough job for the men and women from Affalterbach. The car couldn’t be too low, because that’s the segment of the A 45 AMG, but still it had to be a recognizable AMG. This means sporty bumpers, big exhausts and a more muscular exterior. On the inside, the development wasn’t that hard because the interior looks a lot like the interior of the A 45 AMG and CLA 45 AMG. The specifications of the car are great. The 360 hp strong four-cylinder engine produces 450 Nm of torque and manages to sprint to 100 kph in 4.8 seconds. Of course, the car has a limited top speed of 250 kph.
