Geneva 2014: Nissan GT-R Nismo

The Nissan GT-R is improved every year, but this time not only Nissan improved the car. Nissans sports department, Nismo, laid their hands on the car. The result is amazing when you read the specifications but the car looks also amazing on Nissans stand on the Geneva Motor Show.

When you’re looking for a Nissan GT-R for the track, this is the car you need to buy. With a sporty spoiler on the back, several red details and bigger bumpers it’s quite easy to recognize this car from normal Nissan GT-Rs. On the track, this model is supposed to be very good, something a normal GT-R already is. They who drove the Nürburgring once and were passed by a Nissan GT-R, know what we mean. This model is supposed to be even better than the current generation, so prepare yourself for an amazing car!

The specifications do look better. Thanks to relatively simple adjustments like an improved air intake trajectory and bigger turbos, the power is boosted from 550 to 595 hp. The sprint from zero to 100 kph takes only 2.7 seconds and at the long straight on the Nürburgring you may come close to the top speed of more than 300 kph. Of course, the car lost some weight, up to 65 kilogram to be exact. We have a feeling that it won’t take long before this model is spotted on the Nordschleife where the car managed to set a lap time of 7:08. Yes, that’s amazingly fast!
