It was just a matter of time before the C Cabriolet would be announced. We stil have to wait for a C63 without a roof but we can already show you this version: the AMG C43 Cabriolet!
We've already talked about the C43 Coupé before. Actually the only thing that's different with this cabriolet is the fact that you can take the top down. Technically, both cars are identical. This means that the C43 Cabrio is also powered by a 3 liter V6 which produces 367 hp and 517 Nm of torque. With the wind in your hair you can sprint to 100 kph in 4.8 seconds, which is 0.1 seconds slower than the Coupé version. The top speed is limited at 250 kph.
The softtop of the C43 can be opened and closed up to speeds of 50 kph. The softtop has multiple layers of isolation material which sure that the sound doesn't increase that much. Another function, only for the cabriolet, is AIRSCARF. This sytem blows warm air from your headrest into you neck to make it comfortable to drive with the top down even in cold weather.
