The Aventador is the archetypical supercar. An aggressive and wild object which found its way to a lot of car fanatics. This definitely is the most popular supercar of the last few years. It appears very often on our website and the Aventador is already five years old. It’s about time for a new version: the Aventador S.
Great news for those who love the Aventador. The S is still really brutal. Lamborghini won’t say goodbye to the naturally aspirated V12 attached to the refined ISR gearbox. The Aventador S produces 740 hp and 690 Nm of torque. This brings the newest model in the Aventador range really close to the SV. The sprint from zero to 100 kph takes only 2.9 seconds and 200 kph can be reached in 8.9 seconds. The top speed of this car is 350 kph, just like always.
We have to say that Lamborghini did some important adjustments to the aerodynamics and the four-wheel steering system. This improves the stability of the car at high speeds. The Aventador wasn’t known as a great car on the track but these upgrades might change that. The Aventador S is also equipped with a cylinder deactivation system to reduce the consumption of the engine. Overall, the Aventador S will be a success, personally I really like the renewed design.
