The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series is one of the most brutal cars which competed on this year's Gumball 3000. With its amazing colour and widening, it was one of the most outstanding competitors. In Saint Petersburg, this model was spotted during a stop, to give the 622 hp a rest. This SLS AMG Black Series also has some extra aerodynamic changes.
First thing that stands out is the big spoiler on the back. This spoiler needs to create more downforce and has to make sure that the car will be stable at high speeds, a thing you really need during the Gumball 3000. Next to that, the car is widened and several components are made out of carbon fiber to make them stronger and lighter than the orginal components. This makes the SLS Black Series accelerate to 100 kph in just 3.6 seconds which means that it was also one of the fastest competitors of the Gumball 3000!
