Slowly, the orders come in again at Gumpert. After the declaration of insolvation there was a choice for Gumpert between being declared bankrupt or try hard to go on with their company. They choose, as it should, for the last option. They made the right choice because it seems like the economics of the company are getting better. The declaration of insolvation started on 16 oktober but just a days few after that a new car was ordered.
The administrator was sure that Gumpert kept their head up. The first negotiation for sponsors already found place and the need for a super sports car like the Gumpert Apollo shows that there still is need for the company to exist. Roland Gumpert says that in the following season they will produce four or five cars. Next to that, the worldwide dealer network is activated again so orders from Japan, China, Turkey and the Middle East can be received. We hope they can keep up their good work!
