How many cylinders can a 1M handle?

According to the TJ Fahrzeudesign’s crew you need two hands for counting that. The big V10 of the past generation M5 and M6 had to fit into the small speeding machine. This special piece of dynamite was captured at the Nürburgring, where it looks like a wolf in sheep’s clothes.

Of course, you haven’t got a lack of power with the standard six cylinder engine of the 1M Coupé. But when you swap that engine for a V10, leave the exterior for what it is and you’ve got a serious speeder. The engine is connected to the SMG-gearbox of the same generation M5 and M6, so you’ve basically got the same drive train as that two future classics did, but this car is a lot more compact that both donor cars. If we’re right this engine fires five hundred bhps to the rear wheels, which can cause some trouble on a wet Nürburgring. For spotters it’s nice that the striping reveals the identity of the car, because you can barely see the true car underneath it.
