A license plate can give a car a completely different look. Take the Aston Martin Rapide S for example. Because of its big grille, there isn't much room for a license plate on the front of a car. In countries where they accept smaller license plates or even no license plate on the front, the Aston Martin Rapide S looks way better.
Take these two copies for example. The red Rapide S was spotted in Monaco and has a license plate from Luxembourg. This license plate isn't so big as others and it affects the front less than the bigger plates. The other copy was spotted in Beverly Hills. In this part of California, a lot of cars drive around without a license plate on the front because in a big part of the United States, a license plate on the front isn't restricted.
