Last year, it seems so long ago, Lamborghini introduced the Huracán LP610-4. Nobody saw the car in real life yet but Lamborghini already got a lot of orders for the Huracán. This while the potential owners didn't even know the price of the car. We just received the price of the car and despite the more economic V10, the car isn't cheaper than the Gallardo, which costed € 258.800,- including taxes in the Netherlands.
The Gallardo produced 330 grams of CO2 per kilometer, the Huracan is friendlier for the environment and produces 'only' 290 grams CO2 per kilometer. The Huracán is more economic due to the new gearbox with double clutch and the start-stop system but eventually you have to pay the development costs of all these new systems. According to our calculations, the Huracán LP610-4 will cost € 262.399,- including VAT and other taxes in the Netherlands. Without these taxes, the Huracán will cost € 169.500,- while a new Gallardo LP560-4 2013 will cost you € 150.195,-. This means the car is more expensive than its predecessor, will this also mean that the car is better? We hope to find out soon!
